The Winner’s Edge Lax Camp brings a tremendous staff of top collegiate coaches & players to give each camper individualized attention on all aspects of the game. Established in 2001, Winner’s Edge has become a mainstay for aspiring young lacrosse players. The vision for this camp is to provide the best possible instruction to players by teaching the most current lacrosse techniques in an environment that is fun and fosters an enthusiasm for the game.

Coach Karin BrowerOur featured coach this year is University of Pennsylvania head coach, Karin Brower
who was named the NCAA 2007 NATIONAL COACH OF THE YEAR!

She will be bringing several players from her UPenn team that finished #4 in the country in 2007! These players added to others from Penn State, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Duquesne & other top collegiate programs will make for a great learning experience.

This year our Camp Coordinator will be Gloria Lozano. Gloria is currently an assistant coach for Karin Brower at UPenn and has had a stellar lacrosse career of her own! Gloria grew up in Pittsburgh and was recruited to play at Georgetown University from 2000-2004 where the team played in two national championships! In addition to many other awards, in 2003 she was a nominee for the Tewaaraton Award which is given to the top player in the nation. Her story should inspire young athletes in our area to believe in their dreams and shows what can be achieved through hard work and focus.

Many of our local players have never been away to camp and do not know the beneficial effect it can have on their lacrosse skills. This camp gives them the opportunity without having to go away and allows them to save hundreds of dollars on the cost of other programs.

Making this a 'team camp' will give your program the added benefit of the synergy that comes from a core group of players who are learning the same thing at the same time along with their coaches. There is a 'team discount' for all teams who register 10 or more players!*

This year we are offering a formal one-hour HIGH SCHOOL COACHES SESSION on Tuesday from 5-6 PM.
